SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has launched its second collaboration with hugely popular boy group TWS* as ambassadors.
The project, themed ‘Travel with Us’, is a follow-up to what the travel retailer called a “groundbreaking” music partnership dubbed ‘Play With Us’ unveiled in February with the acclaimed K-pop ‘Super Rookie’ band.
Announcing the ‘Travel with Us’ partnership, Shinsegae Duty Free said: “July and August mark the peak travel season, especially for the younger generation. Through this project, Shinsegae Duty Free aims to create a more approachable and exciting experience for travellers, blending the thrill of first trips with the allure of duty-free shopping.”
In the newly released campaign video, TWS members share their excitement and preparations for their first trips, highlighting the theme of ‘My First Shinsegae Duty Free’.
TWS is currently promoting its second mini album, ‘Summer Beat’.
TWS, renowned for their relatable lyrics and refreshing concepts, has captured the hearts of young audiences, Shinsegae Duty Free said. The retailer said it plans to enhance its own brand image by showcasing TWS’ charm, which it described as “unique music and performances that elevate everyday moments”.
As the summer travel season approaches, Shinsegae Duty Free plans to promote the project through various channels. The video will debut on the retailer’s official social media accounts and YouTube channel and will be featured in outdoor advertisements in key locations around Seoul and at Incheon International Airport.
A Shinsegae Duty Free representative stated: “Our first collaboration with TWS received significant attention and positive feedback. We expect the same enthusiasm for this second project.
“Moving forward, Shinsegae Duty Free will continue to provide innovative content that captures the excitement of travel and engages consumers.” ✈
