A highly decorated US Army soldier who fatally shot himself in a Tesla Cybertruck just before it blew up outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas was “likely” suffering from PTSD, FBI officials said on Friday. They added that he had “no animosity” towards Donald Trump.
The FBI said on Friday that the suspected driver of the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas this week had no animosity towards US President-elect Donald Trump and likely had post-traumatic stress disorder.
The FBI reiterated there was no definitive link between a truck attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day that killed over a dozen people and the Cybertruck explosion later the same day, which left seven people with minor injuries.
