Yahoo Sports fantasy analyst Tera Roberts explains why fantasy managers should trust the Pittsburgh QB in Week 5.
The Steelers are planning to start Justin Fields in week five and that’s not surprising at all.
He’s been the QB six on the season averaging 18.7 Fantasy points per game, but over the past two weeks, he has been on a roll as the QB two behind only Jayden Daniels averaging 25.7 Fantasy points per game.
The key here has been an uptick in volume for fields as he has earned the trust of new offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith Fields has had more than 30 attempts over the past two games.
He remains fairly efficient and he has found the end zone on the ground three times here.
This week’s matchup against Dallas is tough, but quite frankly, dallas’ defense really doesn’t look like itself here and make matters worse.
They will be without Micah Parsons.
What we are looking for in this performance is an output similar to that of Lamar Jackson against Dallas and we three Jackson’s pass volume is low, but Jackson had 87 yards on the ground and a touchdown.
What we are looking for from Justin Fields here is 200 yards through the air, a passing touchdown plus 80 yards on the ground and another touchdown.
