MLB (1 Unit) Houston Astros/Minnesota Twins Over 9 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 1:10 PM CT on Bally Sports North
This has been a wild series so far with 25 runs on Friday and another 12 last night, which is something I expect to continue today. The Minnesota offense is hot again, not even letting the loss of Royce Lewis slow them down. They should be able to continue that against Spencer Arrighetti today, who has a 7.12 ERA and 1.88 WHIP on the road this season. But I’m also a little worried about Simeon Woods Richardson, who has shown cracks recently and will have to face a Houston lineup that’s elite against righthanded pitching. So with the wind blowing out at Target Field and bullpens worn out, look for another slugfest in today’s game.
MLB (0.75 Unit) San Diego Padres Team Total Over 4.5 (+105; Odds via Caesars): 3:10 PM CT on Roku
I’m running this back one more time against a mediocre righthanded starter for Arizona. The San Diego offense is clicking, and exploiting the right pitching matchups, going over this team total in 12 of their past 16 games. With Ryne Nelson starting for the Diamondbacks today I expect the run to continue, especially as they support their ace Dylan Cease. With Nelson, the Padres get another righthander who they have experience against, having tagged him for 6 runs in less than 4 innings just a month ago. Afternoon games at Petco are always better for runs and the wind will be blowing out today, so look for another strong day at the plate for the Padres.
No degenerates today.

Every day he will offer his Locks and Degenerate picks. Locks are the games he’s confident in. Degenerates are entertaining but riskier picks.
