The X post reveals that a Canadian woman was let go from her job at Tim Hortons, a Canadian restaurant chain, for calling out management on their hiring practices, which she claimed favored Indian immigrants.
She observed that Indian managers were exclusively hiring fellow Indian immigrants, and when she confronted this apparent discrimination, it cost her job.
Interestingly, back in June, a viral video featured a long line of Indian applicants outside a Tim Hortons for job interviews.
Commenters noted that this trend extends beyond Tim Hortons, with one stating, “It’s not just Tim Hortons. The IT industry has been slowly doing this for decades, and that’s why software quality has declined.”
Others shared similar experiences they have had in other countries:
Indians hiring only Indians is happening at the company I work for. It’s a very large American company.

That hiring practice is rampant throughout businesses where Indians our decision makers. They file complaints if you don’t hire them using laws that were passed to stop discrimination against African Americans. So it is stolen legislation just like stolen Valor that they are…

I have personally seen this in software companies. If Indians cannot conform to Western standards they are not ready yo be given worker visas. Simple as.

This seems like common practice now. My 2 younger cousins in highschool work in a Walmart, and when the Indian manager took over for hiring, they said the store has become mostly Indian now. When before it was a mix of people.

Happens in Australia too. It’s obvious.

Ok, this is interesting. We’ve had Tim Hortons on Tavistock Road, Plymouth, UK, for a couple of years, I think. I’ve made a few visits and noticed the homogeneity of the staff there. They all, without exception, had brown skin and, to my mind, looked of Indian decent.

My friend experienced this in Germany, an American lady working in IT.
In her words, they took credit for others employees’ achievements, bullied and pushed out all non-Indian employees one by one by creating lies, and hired their Indian mates instead. She was one of the last…

A Forbes report highlights a remarkable trend: the number of Indians immigrating to Canada has skyrocketed more than four times since 2013.
Analysis from the National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP) shows that from 2013 to 2023, Indian immigration to Canada increased from 32,828 to 139,715, marking a staggering 326% rise.
Moreover, the enrollment of Indian students in Canadian universities has seen explosive growth over the past 20 years, jumping over 5,800% from just 2,181 students in 2000 to an impressive 128,928 in 2021.
However, recent shifts in Canada’s immigration policies now impose a cap on new study permit applications, and foreign nationals will no longer be permitted to apply for post-graduation work permits at the border.
