Popular streaming sites Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Crave, Hayu and Mubi are ending 2024 strong with new TV shows and movies being added in December. From the return of Squid Games to new shows like The Sticky and No Good Deed, there’s a lot to get excited about, especially with some holiday discounts still up for grabs for new users.
Additionally, December is going to have a lot of nostalgia. The popular show Dexter, which originally premiered in 2006, is getting an origin story with Dexter: Original Sin, and 2000s icons Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are coming together again for a new special.
Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano lead the upcoming show No Good Deed, from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman.
Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul (Romano) are selling their California Spanish-style house, attracting several interested buyers. As different families battle to get possession of the home, Lydia and Paul try to hide all the things that happened within those walls.
The series also stars Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris and Luke Wilson.
Squid Game is finally returning to Netflix, after taking the world by storm more than three years ago. Player 456, or Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, is back with the goal to hopefully put an end to this deadly competition.
“In Season 1, there was room to show glimpses of Gi-hun’s various personalities, such as his optimistic nature and positive energy,” director Hwang Dong-hyuk said. “This time, the focus was on his determination.”

Get ready for one of the most Canadian shows to watch with The Sticky coming to Prime Video. The series, starring Margo Martindale, Chris Diamantopoulos, Guillaume Cyr, and guest starring Jamie Lee Curtis, is about a middle-aged maple syrup farmer who turns to crime with a Bostonian mobster.
The show is loosely based on the real-life news story dubbed the “Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist.”
Bookie, created by Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay, returns for its second season. Starring Sebastian Maniscalco and Omar J. Dorsey, the eight-episode season follows Los Angeles bookie Danny (Maniscalco) as the potential of legal sports gambling threatens his business.
If you were holding out amid the chaos of positive and negative responses to It Ends with Us, starring Blake Lively, Brandon Sklenar, and Justin Baldoni (who also directed the film), it will be available to stream later this month. Based on the novel by Colleen Hoover, it’s a story about a complicated love triangle as Lily Bloom (Lively) attempts to overcome trauma from her youth.
