Notts County winger Jodi Jones has signed a two-year contract extension with the League Two club, keeping him at Meadow Lane until the summer of 2027.
The 26-year-old Malta international was last month crowned the Professional Footballers’ Association’s League Two player of the year, having already collected the English Football League (EFL) award as the division’s best player last season.
Last term he scored six goals and provided 24 assists – which saw him surpass Manchester City‘s Kevin De Bruyne and former Arsenal star Thierry Henry‘s record for the most assists in an English season, with 20.
He has maintained that fine form this season, providing three assists and scoring two goals in four league matches so far for a Notts side that are second in the fourth tier.
