It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the July 15, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with a video package looking at the storyline between The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee then welcomes us to the show as Rhea Ripley was shown walking backstage. Ripley then makes her way down to the ring.
Rhea Ripley starts off by saying that “Mami” is home and that it’s been three months since she’s been inside the ring thanks to Liv Morgan. Ripley then says Morgan has been running with something of hers and it’s not Dominik Mysterio it is the WWE Women’s World Championship. Ripley then says all Morgan did last week was upset her, then demands Morgan come down to the ring so she can rip her apart. Dominik’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring with a black rose in hand. Dominik looks to tell Ripley something, but Morgan interrupts them by appearing on the big screen. Morgan asks Ripley how she’s doing and how her shoulder is after she injured it, then says her shoulder is doing great. Morgan then reminds Ripley that she wanted to take everything away from her and says while she started off with just wanting to take Dominik from her, she caught feelings for him. Morgan then says she is finally on top.
Dominik then tells Ripley that it’s not what it looks like and Ripley tells Morgan she knew that she’d be too scared to meet her in the ring. Ripley then tells Morgan when she gets in the ring with her, the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour is over. Ripley then challenges Morgan to a WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. Morgan then says she knew Ripley’s challenge will always be the endgame between them and while she won’t run away, she’s not the same Morgan that Ripley knew. Morgan then accepts Ripley’s challenge and tells Dominik that she hopes to see him at SummerSlam. Ripley then addresses Morgan directly to the camera and tells her that she won’t only end the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour and her reign as WWE Women’s World Champion, but her career as well. Ripley then heads to the back as Dominik chases after her. Dominik then hands Ripley the black rose, but Ripley takes it and tosses it behind her.
We then get backstage shots of “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre, 2024 WWE King of the Ring “The Ring General” GUNTHER, “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov and WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn and Michael Cole hypes the segments these men will be involved in.
“The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night against “Big” Bronson Reed.
We then see Dominik Mysterio chase after Rhea Ripley begging for her forgiveness. Ripley then ignores Dominik and opens her dressing room door to find a vase of black roses from Dominik. Ripley then slams the door in Dominik’s face and Dominik turns around to find Damian Priest standing behind him. Priest asks Dominik if everything is good and Dominik says he thinks it is. Ripley then throws the black roses at Dominik and Dominik says it might be more complicated than he thought.
“Big” Bronson Reed then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night.
The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other. Both men deliver right hands on each other and Reed sends Sheamus into the corner and follows it up with a right hand on his head. Reed then hits a variation of then senton on Sheamus, then follows it up with a headbutt. Sheamus then delivers some forearms on Reed, then hits a shoulder tackle on Reed that sends him onto the apron. Sheamus then sets up for The Ten Beats of the Bodhran, but Reed fights his way out of the move and drags Sheamus onto the floor. Reed then flies off from the apron to land on Sheamus, then tosses him over the announce desk. Sheamus then responds by hitting The Ten Beats Of The Bodhran on Reed and celebrates with Pat McAfee. Sheamus then delivers some right hands on Reed. Sheamus then hits a series of clotheslines on Reed, then gets him up on his shoulders and nails him with then White Noise. Sheamus then goes for a pin, but Reed kicks out. Reed then hits a sit-out powerbomb on Sheamus and goes for a pin of his own, but Sheamus kicks out. Reed then drags Sheamus into the corner and climbs to the top. Reed then looks to hit a moonsault, but Sheamus moves out of the way and hits a jumping knee on Reed for the win.

After the match, “The. Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne appears and hits a Shining Wizard on Reed. Sheamus then offers his hand to Dunne, but Dunne opts not to shake it and slides out of the ring. Sheamus then turns his back on Dunne and Dunne hits a forearm on Sheamus from behind and heads to the back. Reed then takes advantage of Dunne’s attack and hits Sheamus with a Tsunami.
We then head back to The Judgment Day’s clubhouse, where Rhea Ripley thanks Damian Priest for taking over her role as leader of Judgment Day. Ripley then asks why Carlito is there with them, but before Priest can answer, Dominik Mysterio appears and asks for a moment alone with Ripley. Dominik says that he’s been trying to reach Ripley all week, but Ripley questions why he didn’t reach out to her whilst she was injured as she tears apart a red rose. Ripley then storms off.
We then see WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn run into “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov backstage. Zayn explains to Dragunov why he went to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to get him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, then tells him to bring his best tonight. Dragunov then agrees to do so as long as Zayn keeps that same promise.
We then get a video of 2024 King of the Ring winner “The Ring General” GUNTHER reflecting on his journey in WWE as both the WWE NXT United Kingdom Champion and the WWE Intercontinental Champion. GUNTHER says he came to Smackdown with the vision of taking the Intercontinental Championship and he won it with ease and went on to become the greatest and longest reigning champion of all-time. GUNTHER then says for two years, challengers said they would take his title and humble him, but every single one of them fell to him. GUNTHER then says once his reign came to an end, he went after the King of the Ring and won it with ease. GUNTHER then says he still saw mediocrity and a lack of prestige. GUNTHER then says the prestige of the World Heavyweight Championship will change forever at SummerSlam. Michael Cole then hypes Damian Priest vs. GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam.
We then get video footage from earlier in the day of Zelina Vega being interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Redmond asks Vega about how Rhea Ripley’s return affects her quest for the championship. Vega says she doesn’t have any love for Morgan or Ripley. Vega then says she would be champion if it wasn’t for Dom. Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark then shows up. Deville says the line starts with them, not Morgan or Ripley. Vega then says she couldn’t hear anything past Deville’s forehead and issued a challenge for a match. Zelina Vega then makes her way down to the ring for a match against Sonya Deville.
Sonya Deville then makes her way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with Deville sending Vega in the corner, but Vega looks to fly. Deville then catches Vega, but Vega takes Deville down with a Tornado DDT and dropkicks her into the ropes. Vega then dials it up for a 619, but Baszler trips her on the apron and stomps on her arm as Stark distracts the referee. This then opens the door for Deville to hit Vega with the Deville’s Advocate for the win.

After the match, Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark beat down Zelina Vega, but Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and Lyra Valkyria make their way down to the ring to make the save.
We then head to the back, where Dominik. Mysterio asks Damian Priest why he didn’t warn him about Ripley last week. Priest tells Dominik he was too busy with Morgan. Priest then says he gave Dominik advice, but Dominik lied about communicating with Ripley and ending things with Morgan. “Main Event” Jey Uso then shows up and asks to know if it was true. Jey then asks if it was true that Ripley was single and ready to mingle. Priest then says maybe and Dominik gets upset. Jey then tells Dominik to tell Mami hi for him and leaves. Priest then tells Dominik he has been to prison and can’t let people talk to him like that. Priest then tells Dominik he needs to show Jey who Ripley belongs to. Dominik then tells Priest he is right and he will take care of business. Priest then laughs after Dominik walks away and Cole hypes Priest meeting face-to-face with GUNTHER.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was then shown talking with the two referees about a meeting when Chad Gable interrupts him. Gable says he cracked the code and figured out that Uncle Howdy is Bo Dallas. Gable then asks Pearce what they spoke about last week. Pearce then says Dallas was in the building and Gable could talk to him. Gable then says he will call out Dallas.
The Judgment Day’s WWE World Heavyweight Champion “El Campeon” Damian Priest then makes his way down to the ring for his face-to-face with Imperium’s 2024 WWE King of the Ring winner “The Ring General” GUNTHER.
Damian Priest starts off by telling Dayton, Ohio to rise for El Campeon, then calls “The Ring General” GUNTHER down to the ring. GUNTHER’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. GUNTHER tells Priest he is happy that he is living out his childhood dream and says in his absence from WWE programming, Priest isn’t living up to the name of WWE World Heavyweight Champion. GUNTHER then tells Priest he has brought no prestige or given no contributions as champion, then asks Priest to simply hand him his title. Priest then says he wishes it was SummerSlam so he could knock GUNTHER’s smirk off his face. Priest then says while GUNTHER had everything handed to him in Europe, he was fighting for his life on the street. Priest then says he has earned the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, then tells GUNTHER that being on the street is a choice. GUNTHER then says while Priest was fighting on the street, WWE was begging to give him a contract to keep people like Priest from being WWE World Heavyweight Champion. GUNTHER then questions why fans don’t love Priest because they’re like him. Priest then tells GUNTHER he still can’t see why he lost his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40. Priest then says GUNTHER doesn’t know what it feels like to fight for everything he has, but he’ll find out what it’s like to fight from the bottom up at SummerSlam. Priest then says they’ll find out that he’s a boring, conceited scumbag at SummerSlam. Priest and GUNTHER then get into each other’s faces before Braun Strowman’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then head to the back, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce was shown speaking with “Main Event” Jey Uso and booking him in a match against Dominik Mysterio for later in the show. After Jey leaves, Bron Breakker shows up and complains about Ilja Dragunov getting an Intercontinental Title Match. Pearce then stands his ground and points out that Breakker lost his title match and adds that Zayn approached him about the match. Breakker then threatens to interfere in the match. Pearce then says he assumed that’s what he had in mind and called for security. Breakker then says he knew the way out. Pearce then tells security to make sure Breakker leaves the building.
The next match of the night then gets started.
The match starts off with Strowman shoving Priest into the corner, but Priest responds with strikes on Strowman in the corner. Priest then hits Strowman with a roundhouse kick, then follows it up with kicks on his thighs. Strowman then sends Priest across the ring and follows it up with a shoulder block, then clotheslines him out of the ring and follows him out there. Strowman then looks to hit The Strowman Express on Priest, but Priest sends Strowman over the barricade nearby to the timekeeper’s area. Priest then nails Strowman with a couple of forearms and looks to hit another one. Strowman then intercepts Priest with a couple of clotheslines and a splash in the corner, then sends Priest crashing into the mat. Both men then look to nail each other with chokeslams before Priest hits Strowman with a series of roundhouse kicks. Priest then runs the ropes, but Strowman catches him. Priest then escapes and hits a forearm on Strowman’s spine, then follows it up with the South Of Heaven chokeslam for the win.

After the match, GUNTHER makes his way down to the ring and hits a chop on Priest. Priest then delivers some strikes on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER hits another chop on Priest. Priest then hits a shoulder tackle on GUNTHER and GUNTHER retreats.
We then head to the back and see Maxxine Dupri, Otis and Akira Tozawa taking part in a meeting and talking about someone. Chad Gable then walks in and assumes that they’re talking about him, but Dupri explains that they weren’t. Xavier Woods then walks in and Dupri tells Woods with Kofi Kingston sidelined for a few weeks, Otis and Tozawa will be happy to provide him with some back-up against The Final Testament. Gable then asks Otis if they’re really going to help Woods rather than him and Otis tells him they are.
Kayden Carter, Katana Chance and Lyra Valkyria then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville then make their way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with Baszler and Carter. Baszler delivers a strike on Carter, then stomps on her hand. Carter then trips Baszler, then follows it up with a kick on her head and tags in Chance. Chance and Carter then delivers some kicks and stomps on Baszler, but Stark tags in and hits a kick on Chance’s head. Chance then looks to hit a hurricanrana on Stark, but Stark catches her. Chance then hits Stark with an arm drag and a crossbody out of the corner, but Stark rolls through. Chance then takes down Stark and dropkicks her into the corner, then tags in Carter. Carter then flips Chance into Stark, then sends her and Baszler out of the ring. Carter then helps Chance fly to land on Baszler and Stark.
Stark then tags in and keeps Carter from tagging in Chance. Carter still manages to tag in Chance and Chance hits Stark with a hurricanrana. Chance then delivers some stomps on Stark in the corner, but Stark responds with a knee on Chance. Baszler then tags in and hits a jumping knee on Chance in the corner. Baszler then goes for a pin, but Chance kicks out. Baszler then locks in a cross arm breaker on Chance, but Chance makes it up to her feet to escape. Chance then hits a modified moonsault on Baszler, then tags in Carter. Carter and Chance then double team Baszler and Chance tags back in. Chance then climbs to the top, but Deville grabs her attention. Valkyria then pulls Deville off the apron. Stark then tags in and hits a dropkick on Chance off the top rope. Stark then throws Chance over to Baszler and Baszler hits Chance with a jumping knee. Stark then pins Chance and gets the win.

We then head back inside the Judgment Day clubhouse, where WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh says they wanted to address the elephant in the room regarding Liv Morgan helping them win the World Tag Team Titles. Ripley says no worries. Ripley then says Liv played her games and they didn’t work, but the tag team titles are back where they belong and now it’s her chance to get her title back. Dominik Mysterio then interrupts and says Jey Uso was talking out of line about Ripley, so he went to Pearce and got a match made. Ripley then asks why he was picking a fight with Jey. Dominik then says he can get the match cancelled. Ripley then asks Dominik if he is a coward. Dominik then says he wanted to show Jey and everyone else that Mami still belongs to him. Ripley then took offense and leaves the room while Dominik tries to backtrack. Carlito then tells Dominik dude that’s not cool.
“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre was then shown walking through the backstage area and Michael Cole questions whether he could get his suspension lifted.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is now standing inside the ring and he introduces “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre and McIntyre makes his way down to the ring. We then get video footage of McIntyre snapping and nailing Pearce with an elbow during the Money in the Bank post-show, which caused McIntyre’s suspension.
Adam Pearce starts off by telling Drew McIntyre he wants to get straight to the point. Pearce then tells McIntyre that he’s something special and thinks a match between him and CM Punk would be special. Pearce then says he thinks fans want it and he knows Punk is at home trying to get medically cleared. Pearce then asks McIntyre how bad he wants a match against Punk and McIntyre tells Pearce that Punk wants it more than anything in the world. Pearce then tells McIntyre that they need to leave the pettiness and irrational behavior behind and if he can do that, then he’s ready to do business.
McIntyre then says he understands Pearce did what he needed to and he had to watch Punk and Seth “Freakin” Rollins confront each other in the ring. McIntyre then asks fans if they’re ready to see him and Punk face off at SummerSlam and fans cheer. McIntyre then asks Pearce to make the match between him and Punk official and Pearce says he has one thing to ask McIntyre. Pearce then calls two referees in the ring and asks McIntyre to apologize to them for what he did to them at Money in the Bank. McIntyre then asks why he would do that and Pearce says the referees put their bodies on the line every time they step in the ring. McIntyre then tells Pearce to move forward and make a match between him and Punk at SummerSlam official. Pearce then says he’s not being unreasonable and says all he’s asking for is that McIntyre gives an apology to the two referees. McIntyre then declines to do so and asks why he would apologize after all the referees have done is screw him over. McIntyre then chews Pearce out for allowing Punk to mess up his moments at WWE Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank. McIntyre then says Pearce should be on his hands and knees apologizing to him as well as allowing Rollins to skip the line to get to Punk. Pearce then informs McIntyre that he’s still suspended. McIntyre then slowly turns around to face Pearce. McIntyre then nails both of the referees, then gets in Pearce’s face. Seth Rollins’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Rollins begins brawling with McIntyre and hits him with a superkick. Rollins then looks to hit a Curb Stomp on McIntyre, but McIntyre rolls out of the ring before Rollins can. Security then appears and looks to escort McIntyre from the ringside area and McIntyre storms to the back.
We then get a video showing a box left by the Wyatt Sicks for Pat McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show. Michael Cole then sends it over to the VHS tape left in the box, which shows Uncle Howdy interviewing Erick Rowan. Rowan says he used to have a family that was unstoppable and inseparable until the whole world changed one day. Rowan then says he lost a brother in Brodie Lee and the person who believed in him more than anyone else. Rowan then says you have to keep moving because life goes on, but he lost another brother in Bray Wyatt. Rowan then says he fell down a well he didn’t want to get out of and says he felt catatonic. Rowan then holds up his sheep mask from his Wyatt Family days and says that the Wyatt Sicks are going to take some broken hearts in this beautiful world.
The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio then makes his way down to the ring for the next match. “Main Event” Jey Uso makes his way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with Dominik Mysterio wasting no time in going after Jey Uso and he blindsides Uso from behind. Dominik then hits a dropkick on Uso. Dominik then delivers some right hands on Uso, then jams his boot into the back of Uso’s neck. Dominik then hits a stomp on Uso, then follows it up with shoulders on Uso’s midsection and wears Uso down with a submission. Dominik then hits The Three Amigos on Uso and goes for a pin, but Uso kicks out. Dominik then dropkicks Uso into the ropes and dials it up for a 619, but Uso ducks out of the way and low-bridges Dominik out of the ring. Uso then looks to fly, but Dominik sends him crashing into the ring post. Uso then delivers some right hands on Dominik and follows it up with a superkick. Uso then hits an open palm strike and an enzuigiri on Dominik, then follows it up with a Hip Attack and climbs to the top rope. Liv Morgan then pulls Dominik out of the ring before Uso can fly and Dominik asks her what she’s doing. Dominik then looks to send Morgan to the back, but Uso dropkicks Morgan into Dominik. Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring as Morgan retreats through the crowd. Ripley then tells Dominik to get back in the ring and he does so, but Uso is waiting and he hits a spear and an Uso Splash on Dominik for the win.

After the match, Uso made a phone hand gesture, suggesting that he wanted Ripley to call him.
We then get an video vignette on “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov. WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was then shown taping up his hands and wrists inside his dressing room while Michael Cole hypes up the main event.
Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable then makes his way down to the ring as he will call out Bo Dallas.
We then head to the back, where Rhea Ripley tells Dominik Mysterio that she doesn’t belong to him as he belongs to her. Ripley then hands Dominik a black rose and walks off.
Chad Gable starts off by gloating about solving the greatest mystery in all of WWE and announces that Uncle Howdy is really Bo Dallas. Gable then says he cracked the case, then demands Dallas to come down to the ring so they can solve their issues. Dallas then makes his way down out, but The Creed Brothers blindside him on the ramp. Brutus then sends Dallas crashing into the barricade and Julius sends him crashing into the ring post. Julius then dumps Dallas into the ring and Gable and The Creeds stand tall over Dallas. Dallas then begins to laugh and The Creeds hold Dallas in place as Gable delivers some forearms on him. The Creeds then double team Dallas and Gable hits Dallas with a German suplex. Dallas then continues to laugh in the corner and Gable asks him what he’s laughing at. Dallas then tells Gable there you are and the lights go out. The Wyatt Sicks’ music then begins and smoke fills the ring. Sister Abigail, Mercy The Buzzard, Ramblin’ Rabbit and Huskus The Pig Boy then walk through a door. Their silhouettes are then shown on the stage as Sister Abigail holds up a lantern. The Wyatt Sicks then surround Gable and The Creeds in the ring, but The Creeds retreat. Dallas then gets up out of the corner and falls to his knees as the rest of The Wyatt Sicks surround him.
“The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov then makes his way down to the ring for the main event, which is a WWE Intercontinental Championship Match. WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn then makes his way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with both men take turns in locking each other in submission holds before Zayn hits a chop on Dragunov. Dragunov then responds with one of his own, then delivers some right hands on Zayn. Zayn then send Dragunov out of the ring and hits him with a springboard moonsault. Dragunov then hits a boot on Zayn in the corner. Zayn then responds with a series of right hands on Dragunov, then nails him with a clothesline. Dragunov then nails Zayn with a knee and looks for the Constantine Special, but Zayn sees him coming and counters into a Blue Thunder Bomb. Zayn then goes for a pin, but Dragunov kicks out. Zayn then charges at Dragunov, but Dragunov intercepts him with a boot. Dragunov then looks to hit an H-Bomb, but Zayn catches him with a boot and goes for a pin. Dragunov then kicks out and Zayn nails him with a forearm. Dragunov then responds with a kick and a running knee, then hits an H-Bomb on Zayn on the outside off the apron. Both men then get back inside the ring and Dragunov flies off the top. Dragunov then climbs back up and looks to hit a senton, but Zayn gets his knees up and pins Dragunov. Dragunov then kicks out and delivers some strikes on Zayn from the apron, but Zayn responds with a Helluva Kick. Bron Breakker then appears and hits a spear on Dragunov, causing the disqualification.
The winner and still the WWE Intercontinental Champion due to a disqualification, Sami Zayn!
After the match, Zayn delivers some right hands on Breakker. Zayn then sends Breakker’s face bouncing off the announce desk and gets him in the ring, but Breakker nails Zayn with a back body drop and runs the ropes, then hits him with a spear. Breakker then stands tall over Zayn as the show comes to a close.
