England women have seen history repeat itself against Germany at Wembley in a bonkers first half of action.
The Lionesses played host to Germany in a repeat of the World Cup final, but found themselves 3-0 down inside half an hour courtesy of two goals from Giulia Gwinn and an effort from Klara Buhl, leaving Sabrina Weigman’s side shellshocked.
In fact, it was the first time that they have conceded three first half goals in a decade, also coming against Germany at Wembley.
3 – England have conceded three first half goals for the first time since November 2014, when they also did so against Germany, losing 3-0 in a friendly at Wembley. Surprise. pic.twitter.com/gKSaj9mknF

On that night they lost 3-0, but two quick goals from the Lionesses have made sure that won’t happen this time around.
Can they complete a memorable comeback in the second half?
