Arsenal’s first Champions League home game has got off to the perfect start as they look to pick up their first win of the competition.
Faced against Ligue 1 champions PSG, Mikel Arteta’s side took the lead after just 20 minutes via an in-form Kai Havertz.
The former Champions League winner with Chelsea beat Gianluigi Donnarumma to the ball after a cross from Leandro Trossard and headed home.
In doing so, Havertz became the first Arsenal player to score in six consecutive home games since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in 2019, while Bukayo Saka’s free kick has since made it 2-0 and comfortable for Arsenal.
In current form, no one would bet against Havertz making it seven this weekend.
