LAFC have added some depth to their rearguard ranks after completing the signing of former Shakhtar Donetsk defender Marlon.
The 29-year-old is fresh off the back of a loan spell at Brazilian giants Fluminense, where he helped lead the side to their first ever Copa Libertadores title.
For now, the Brazilian will put pen to a paper on a short-term deal that will keep him in Los Angeles until the end of 2024, but the club will have an option to re-sign him through June 2025.
LAFC have hit a minor bump in the road as of late, dropping points in two straight MLS matches, but they remain a strong contender for MLS Cup.
