The Premier League is edging closer to a return after the third international break of the season, with domestic action now set to continue uninterrupted until March.

It means that there will be plenty more goals, shocks, controversies and VAR outrage.

But we have already seen a mammoth 314 goals this season, including some absolute screamers.

Whether it’s Cole Palmer, Mo Salah, Bryan Mbuemo, Matheus Cunha or Alejandro Garnacho, plenty have staked their early claim for goal of the season.
