Bayern and Germany star midfielder Jamal Musiala continues to add to his budding young legacy with a first-half hat trick against Mainz.
Vincent Kompany’s troops came into the away fixture at MEWA Arena with a point to prove after crashing out of the second round of the DFB Pokal in three of the last four seasons, but Musiala and company had other ideas.
The prodigious talent, who already is viewed by many as arguably the top young star in Europe, bagged a first-half hat trick to stun the home side while likely putting the matter beyond doubt in just 45 minutes.
With that, Musiala secured another milestone of his budding career, bagging his first hat trick.
3 & 50 – In his 174th competitive match for FC Bayern, Jamal Musiala scored his first hat-trick – he has now scored 50 competitive goals for the Bavarian side. Brilliant. #M05FCB pic.twitter.com/dPPtvteoX1

In addition, it was also the 50th goal of his professional career.
As Musiala continues to cement his place in club lore despite his tender age, supporters will no doubt hope that this level of form will continue across all competitions as Bayern aims to get back among the trophies in 2024-25.
Wunderkind.
