At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Toni Storm defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against STARDOM star Mina Shirakawa.
Toni Storm has been feuding with Shirakawa in recent weeks, as Mariah May has been caught in the middle, given her relationships with the two. It all came to a head at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Storm and Shirakawa threw everything they had at each other while May watched on from ringside. Shirakawa nearly put Storm away on multiple occasions, but Storm persevered and hit the Storm Zero for the win.
After the bell, Storm shook Shirakawa’s hand when she extended it. May encouraged them to hug, and subsequently kiss, and they did, and everyone was seemingly on the same page when they left.
