HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men’s and women’s tennis programs have announced their 2024 fall schedule, which features two events at Quinnipiac’s home courts in Hamden.
Both teams will play in four events, beginning with the women hosting the Quinnipiac Hidden Duals on Sept. 6-8 with UConn, St. Francis, and Fairfield coming to Hamden. The men will participate in the Brown Invitational in Providence, R.I. the following weekend Sept. 14-15.
Bryan Adinolfi‘s squad will then head to Fairfield, Conn. from Sept. 20-22 to participate in the Fairfield Hidden Duals. The women’s team will take the trip to West Point, N.Y. to participate in the West Point Hidden Duals on Sept. 27-29.
Quinnipiac is set to host the MAAC Individual Invite in Hamden, Conn. on Oct. 4-6 with both squads participating. Each team will wrap up their fall schedule at the ITA Regional Championships at Harvard University. The women’s team will participate from Oct. 10-13 and the men will take the trip to Cambridge, Mass. on Oct. 17-20.
Quinnipiac tennis is coming off a very successful season, including a MAAC Championship for the men’s program and a 5-1 conference record for the women. MAAC Player of the Year Daniel Velek is set to return for his second season for men’s tennis, as well as MAAC selections Carlos Braun Simo and Finn Burridge. All-MAAC selections Caitlin Flower and Caroline Schulson will be back for the women’s team in 2024-25.
