Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek will be providing an update on the work going into the effort to fully restore the city’s water services in the wake of a feeder main break in early June.
Gondek is scheduled to speak at 9:30 a.m. from city hall.
On the weekend, Calgary’s director of capital priorities and investment Francois Bouchart said residents used 535 million litres of water on Saturday, down by about nine million litres from Friday.
The city remains under Stage 3 restrictions and residents are limited to watering outdoor plants and gardens with a can or bucket.
CTV Calgary will carry the address live online.
