We have the Chiefs and the Bills and these feel like they’re always classics.
I feel like this is just another game where the Chiefs can just, you’re going to be Nickel and diamond and winning within the margins.
I again, I defaulted to third and long conversions or, or, you know, third down stats for this game because the Chiefs are 1st and 3rd in long conversions like Mahomes has just been awesome there.
Uh The Bills are 28th and third in long defense, which is pretty interesting.
I think maybe that’s where you start to see um some of the retooling that they’ve done this off season, not always being up to the full standard that they’ve had over the past couple of years, but really just the plays like the high leverage plays where Mahomes has to be Mahomes.
Josh Allen has to be Josh Allen because I kind of think these teams are, are fairly evenly matched, uh going into this game, but you have just two superhuman quarterbacks that are uh really capable of just putting the entire load on their own shoulders and carrying it across.
Um The other thing that I found interesting as, as well as good as the Bills and chief defense have been on, uh you know, over throughout the course of the season.
Uh The Bills are 24th in drop back, success rate.
The Chiefs are 25th in drop back, success rate on defense.
So could be a potential for some fireworks here either peppering from the home side and probably fireworks from Josh Allen’s side.
The Bills are really leaning into cover two and that, that fascinates me.
They had the natural answer which is a boring run game, which is gonna work.
That’s how you, what you do against cover two run, run, run, run, run and they can do that and they can, it’s not gonna get explosives, but they’re gonna be efficient.
They’re still a very efficient offense, but I kind of this is gonna be a big Tyron Johnson game.
The slot player for the Bills who’s phenomenal Mahomes has been sacked five times this year, almost a 10% rate when they against cover two.
He has a good success rate.
It’s about 50%.
His air yards per completion against cover two this year is 2.8 yards, nickel and dime fest on this side of the ball.
If you’re looking for fireworks from the Chiefs as far as big plays, I don’t know.
I think it’s gonna be a IO type attack.
A lot of singles and doubles from the Chiefs side predictions.
Like I said, Bills are two point favorites at home.
45.5 point over under.
By the way, I saw the, the, the witchcraft, the Chiefs pull on that last play on Sunday.
I’m not picking against them Chiefs.
You know what, I’ll, I’ll do Bills just for fun.
Bills won by field goal.
