The major averages are searching for direction this morning after the Dow and S&P 500 both closed at record highs yesterday. The rally, which followed this week’s rate cut from the Federal Reserve, saw the Dow close above 42,000 for the first time ever. On the executive front, Nike shares are jumping on news CEO Phil Donahue will retire next month and will be replaced by Elliot Hill. Shares of Nike have declined over 20% this year. Yahoo Finance trending tickers include FedEx, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., and United Parcel Service.
