The shopping centre houses over 120 retailers; including Next, H&M and TK Maxx and receives over 16 million customers a year.
Frasers Group said the deal will “unlock new opportunities” for its fascias such as Sports Direct, Everlast Gyms, Frasers and Flannels. It plans to more than triple the size of its Sports Direct store in the centre to over 35,000 sq ft, which will include USC, Game and Evans Cycles.
The retailer did not disclose the value of the deal, but the shopping centre was first listed for ยฃ35m on commercial property marketplace LoopNet.
It follows the company’s acquisitions of The Mall shopping centre in Luton and the Overgate shopping centre in Dundee last March.

Frasers Group was advised by property firm CBRE on this acquisition.
