Keith Urban has a brand new album out this very morning.
It’s his first in almost four years after ditching the first attempt, which he told us about and it is absolutely fantastic.
Nine entertainment editor, Richard Wilkins sat down with the country megastar to chat about the exciting new project.

Urban revealed he wanted something visually strong for the music video for new single, Heart Like a Hometown, so he decided sharing photos from his childhood really tied in with the song’s themes.
“I thought, well, what about just a bunch of childhood photos? Because that’s what it is and it was touching seeing it because I just gave my guy stacks of photos and they put it together and everybody did a great job,” Urban said.
The multi-Grammy winner is gearing up for his The High and Alive World Tour, which will visit Newcastle, Brisbane, Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide next year.
“I don’t know what I’m going to sing next year, I’m really happy that people are responding to these new songs off the new record, even at the club shows, people have been singing along with all the new songs, so it feels really good,” he said.
Keith’s new album, High, is out this morning.

And in other exciting news, I’m delighted to tell you that Anastacia is heading back our way, making her only Australian appearance during the Melbourne Cup Carnival on Derby Day.
Everyone will be in their fancy black and whites and front and centre will be this powerful, amazing voice performing at the park for the punters.
And Ronan Keating will also be performing at Crown Oaks Day Thursday and British star Sophie Ellis Baxter will headline on Lexus Melbourne Cup day, so plenty of great entertainment.
