I also thought that, I don’t know, Tua could hit a wide open, uh, could hit a wide open Tyreek Hill, couldn’t do it over and over and over early in the game, the Miami Dolphins looked terrible in the beginning, but they still found a way to scratch and claw and get a win over the Jags 20 to 17 thanks to a walloping field goal as time expired to, to get the win, big win for the Dolphins because I honestly kept watching it thinking, you know what Frank’s right, I’ve been sleeping on the jags.
The Jags are better than I expected them to be.
And then somehow as the game melted on the Jags melted away and the, uh, the Dolphins got hot at the right time.
Yeah, the, the offense just disappeared in the second half for the Jaguars and that’s on Trevor Lawrence again.
We’re, we’re critical about him, but he’s a $55 million quarterback like we should be critical about him.
They couldn’t get anything done in the second half.
Now, it’s not all his fault.
There was a sequence in the game where Travis Etienne’s going in for a touchdown.
It’s gonna be 24 to 7 and this kind of lights out at that point, he fumbles and right away, Tyran hits an 80 yard touchdown, which he could do.
He’s Tyree Kill.
It was a huge, you know, 14 point swing and that kind of determined it, but it’s say that I felt ok about the Jaguars.
They played really, really tough.
They should have probably won that game.
But at the same time, you got to finish the Soviet team is still fun.
I’m still not completely sold on them being like a playoff team or anything again, but they’re gonna be fun.
They’re gonna be good and they got a huge win here.
I do think it, it ends early, the narrative that they can’t beat good teams because the Jags look like a good team.
Like this wasn’t the Jags being a bad end up with a winning record.
Yeah.
So I, I think for the con conversation last year, well, Dolphins only peed up on the lower class.
I, I think that that was not that at all.
So, uh and you’re also right, like if that 80 yard touchdown just so brilliant to see the way they scheme up Tyreek Hill getting over there and it felt like the Jags were taking the right angle, they just got outrun and just, you know, his turbo button is faster than everybody else’s so good for the Dolphins on getting the big win.
