Marshall Latimore to the commanders for Washington.
I love it like they, they should smell blood in the water in the NFC East right now.
I’m feeling more and more what Washington is putting down here from a defensive standpoint.
You know, of course, because it’s Dan Quinn.
They play man coverage at the sixth highest rate this year.
That is classic Dan Quinn stuff.
You get a one on one is O man coverage corner here and Marshawn Lati or makes all the sense in the world.
And again, they should feel pretty good about their odds to win this division with the NFC and how kind of murky it is behind Detroit.
Why can they not like win a playoff game with what the offense is doing right now?
I mean, I could not be more thrilled about what’s going on with Terry mclaurin and Jaden Daniels because so few guys truly ever get to get out of the quarterback wilderness.
This just makes sense.
It was a weak spot for the, for the entire depth chart.
Why not add a guy who’s been a proven, uh, top-level man corner for a long time?
Yeah.
And, and it’s also not, this isn’t just a rental with, with Latimore, you know, like they still have him under contract, I believe for two more years after this.
So it’s that, that’s another thing too is like where this commander’s team is uh no matter what.
Picking in the back after the first round, it looks like, you know, we’re gonna most likely in the twenties somewhere as far as the land more thing.
It’s like this guy is, is he the elite corner?
No, but he is a good starting corner still moves the needle.
They don’t have that on their roster.
Those are hard to get.
And he’s proven like where they’re picking in the twenties, they have other holes on this roster.
So now they can give up these middle round picks to get a valuable starter and a, at a position they really need.
And now they got a lot more, a lot less holes to fill in next year’s draft class.
So why not push it?
Who, who’s gonna slow down this offense and the defense that’s playing a lot better.
So, totally understood this one.
thumbs up all that stuff.
