The post positions for Saturday’s three richest races at Woodbine Mohawk Park were drawn on Monday evening, Sept. 16.
The draws for the $1 million Metro Pace for two-year-old pacers and $713,000 Canadian Trotting Classic for three-year-old trotters were held during the Monday race night pre-show and are listed below. The draw for the $1 million Mohawk Million for two-year-old trotters took place after the evening’s first race. Eliminations were held last weekend for the Metro Pace, which were won by Captain Optimistic and Fallout, and the Canadian Trotting Classic, which went to Highland Kismet and Sir Pinocchio. Elimination winners drew for posts two through six.
