Samsung is still working on the Galaxy S24 FE, expected to be released at some point later this year. The more affordable member of the S24 line (at least based on pricing at launch for all of them) will be available to purchase in black, gray, light blue, light green, and yellow, according to a new report from the usually reasonably accurate Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants.
The black colorway is apparently expected to be by far the best seller. By the way, we’re sure Samsung will come up with some fancy color names for the S24 FE, what we shared above are simply the actual hues you should get, regardless of what the company calls them.
For comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S23 FE came in Mint, Cream, Purple, Indigo, Graphite, and Tangerine. It’s interesting to see both black and gray mentioned for the S24 FE – the latter, we assume, for those who find black a little bit too bland, but can’t stand any of the brighter hues.
Last month, the Galaxy S24 FE was spotted in the Geekbench database with the Exynos 2400 chipset on board, paired with 8GB of RAM. That said, there may be versions with 12GB too. Rumors and leaks have so far been pretty evenly split regarding its release time frame: some say this summer, some say towards the end of the year.
When it does arrive, it’s expected to have the same main camera as the Galaxy S24, S23, and S23 FE, a 6.1-inch AMOLED screen, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and a 4,500 mAh battery.
