The most-downloaded games for June on PS5 have been revealed by Sony, and if you thought that Elden Ring would be at the top of the charts thanks to its new expansion, you’d be very wrong. Grand Theft Auto 5 was at the top of the US and Canadian charts yet again, jumping up from fifth place in May to clinch the top spot. Elden Ring took second place on the list, making its grand return with the challenging Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.
Beyond that, only one other new release appeared in the top 20 downloads list, according to Sony. Vampire survival game V Rising was the seventh-most-downloaded game, and it was joined by old favorites like NBA 2K24, Madden NFL 24, and Call of Duty. Surprisingly, several other games made a return to the charts, like Mortal Kombat 1, Ghost of Tsushima, and Cyberpunk 2077. Sly Cooper also sneaked into 20th place, as the very first game starring the thieving raccoon was added to PS Plus last month.
