Guernsey FC’s wait for a first win of the season went on as they were beaten 3-0 at home by Leatherhead in Isthmian League South Central.
Sebastian Karczewski’s deflected strike gave the visitors a 30th-minute lead as the Green Lions returned to action for the first time in 18 days.
Andre Date doubled the lead 10 minutes later as he reacted quickest to a loose ball in the box.
Sam Murray had Guernsey’s best chance two minutes from full time when he narrowly missed from Fin Du Port’s cross.
Leatherhead’s win was completed soon after when substitute Kwesi Ntim lobbed goalkeeper Josh Addison.
The defeat means Guernsey are still looking for their first win since March having drawn one and lost three of their opening four matches this season.
Tony Vance’s side are above the relegation places in the early Isthmian League South Central table on goal difference.
