Milan might finally regret preparing to cut their losses on Yacine Adli.

The midfield enforcer was allowed to leave the San Siro this summer for a season-long loan with Fiorentina that could be made permanent.

But Adli returned to haunt the Rossoneri in Sunday’s Serie A encounter by opening the scoring with a drilled finish inside the penalty area.

Paulo Fonseca’s side were further left to rue their decision as they failed to score from the penalty spot deep in first-half added time.
